Inaugural Junior Olympics Roller Derby Tournament!
The Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) are proud to present a unique competition opportunity for junior roller derby athletes in a co-ed event.
The mission of JRDA is to nurture bold self-confidence in youth by developing teamwork and athletic ability while treasuring individuality within a culture of integration, encouragement, and service to others.
JRDA partners with competitive & recreational junior leagues, communities & schools, mentors & families; to empower youth through the international sport of roller derby. In this collaboration with USARS to bring Jr Derby into the AAU Junior Olympics, we are taking a big step forward in the development of the sport.
Event Details:
The inaugural 8 team co-ed international Junior Olympic event for Junior Roller Derby will be held in conjunction with the 2016 JRDA Championship event.
Where: Lincoln, NE at the Speedway Sporting Village on 345 Sporting Village Drive.
When: July 9-13, 2016
Registration: Once the coaches are selected, they will scout their region's bouts and tournaments for qualified skaters and recruit their teams. Each team will have a 20 person charter. To be considered, you must sign up at
