Welcome Ima Hotmess as the new Southwest Regional Coordinator

Please welcome our newly voted regional coordinator for the JRDA Southwest Region, Shana Kiyler Kerr (Ima Hotmess).

Ima began roller skating as a kid and worked as a teenager at Skate World in Chandler, Arizona.

She found roller derby in 2011 first skating with a recreational league in Boulder Creek, California, called the Mountain Maulers and then later that year joining the Monterey Bay Derby Dames. While at Monterey served she as Captain of the WFTDA charter team, the Beasts of Eden, as a member of the Training Committee, and as the WFTDA Representative for the league.

She Joined the Santa Cruz Derby Girls in 2013 as a skater and juniors coach. In 2015, sidelined by major injury, she retired from play and became the Director of the Santa Cruz juniors program.

Ima is currently President and Head Coach of the Santa Cruz Derby Groms.
