Welcome Andrea McKown as the new Great Lakes Regional Coordinator

Help us welcome our newly voted regional coordinator for the Great Lakes Region!

Andrea McKown, known to many as 5 ft Assassin, has been involved in roller derby for about 9 years. She was a skater for the Kokomo City Fists Rollergirls for 4 seasons and then moved on to become a JRDA recognized referee, officiating a little over 300 games. She is currently the head coach of the Indianapolis Junior Roller Derby Allstars.

By day, Andrea works for a large healthcare organization where she demonstrates effective communication, organization, and leadership skills. She is wife to Daniel, also a coach at IJRD, and mom to skater Floppy Joe and former skater, Brenda Bruise ‘n Bangz.ion, and leadership skills. As an avid supporter of youth sports, Andrea is excited to have the opportunity to work with the JRDA to help grow and build junior roller derby in the Great Lakes Region.
