New Regional Coordinator for Eastern Canada

Having founded Tri-City Junior Roller Derby in 2012, Jennifer brings over five years experience as a coach and administrator of TCJRD. The league has uniquely grown to be, quite likely, the largest junior roller derby organization in Canada with over 80 skaters in three different locations in three nearby Ontario cities - Kitchener, Guelph and Stratford.

Professionally, Jennifer also is involved in children’s fitness. She is a regional coordinator of a charitable organization that brings fitness professionals to Canadian classrooms where they assist teachers explain physical literacy and plant the seeds of a lifetime love of health and activity. She has a strong background in journalism and marketing, having worked at daily newspapers, radio and television stations as well as working at advertising agencies in Toronto and British Columbia as a copywriter, media relations agent, and event manager.

Jennifer looks forward to nurturing junior roller derby in Ontario and Québec, the biggest provinces in Canada. And although she’s unilingual, she will try her best to ensure French voices are heard. Bien qu’elle soit unilingue, elle essaye de s’assurer que des voix françaises sont entendues.
