Rena "ElectroShockHer" Wolf joins the JRDA as the new Games Director starting the 2018 Competitive Season.

Rena started with roller derby back in late 2012 with a very short-lived skating career.  While out with a couple of injuries, Rena fell into NSOing and loved it. Since then she bounced around the country officiating games and tournaments whenever she could.  In 2015 Rena took over as HNSO of Jacksonville Roller Derby, and with that came Jacksonville Junior Roller Derby (aka Duval).  For whatever reason, the coaches and parents of the juniors took her under their wing and opened up the world of junior roller derby to Rena.  She organized the officiating at the 2016 JRDA South/Southeastern Regionals, participated in 2016 JRDA Championships, and was THNSO for 2017 JRDA Championships, as well as being a part of the JRDA stats committee.  Junior roller derby grabbed her heart and she is excited to play an even greater role in it!

In Rena's non-derby life she has 4 “kids”, though three of them are adults.  She also has a menagerie of animals – 4 cats, 2 dogs, and a snake (yuck!)  She works as a neurophysiologist and until recently was the regional manager for the company she works for.  Now Rena travels around and does a combination of neurophysiology and account maintenance.  Doesn’t sound super interesting, but she swears it is!
