Game Type Definitions

Sanctioned   A Regulation game between member leagues within the same division that counts toward post season eligibility.
Regulation   Games played between two member leagues that fully follow flat track rules, but do not count towards post-season eligibility.
Home Team Games Played between teams within the same league (may or may not be a regulation game).

To ensure that a game is properly sanctioned, National leagues must follow these steps

  • Sanctioning is available for JRDA Members ONLY.
  • Ensure that all skaters to be listed on the charter are registered with the JRDA in SportsEngine 
  • Submit an initial league charter with a minimum of 6 skaters within 30 days of membership registration.
  • While team charters may be edited through the season, a charter does not become active until 14 days after it has been submitted. 
  • Submit a sanctioned game scheduling request no less than 14 days before the game is to occur.
  • Submit the IGRF and Expulsion forms along with official game scores within 48 hours of game completion (scanned PDFs required).
  • Submit completed stats books within 2 weeks of game completion.
